Paranormal Perception and Theories of Consciousness

The paranormal department of the CIA faced active suppression since the early 2000's, since around the time that the popular X-files TV show was cancelled. There is a taboo against investigating parapsychology, almost complete lack of funding, and "scientists behaving like religious inquisitors". A paranormal dream showed over 20 years into the future. This article provides a brief overview of the ability to perceive the future, and what it might imply for philosophical theories of consciousness.
